    2. ROLLERS
    3. GUIDE BASES
    4. CLAMPS
    5. SKIDDING JACKS
    6. CLAW BASES

I.  DESIGN BASIS

  1. Full Hook Load (Rotary Load) without Setback: 1,000,000 lbs.

  2. Full Setback: 400,000 lbs.

  3. Simultaneous Rotary (Casing) Load plus Setback: 1,200,000 lbs.

  4. There will be a 300,000 lbs. Setback Load while skidding.

  5. The Substructure will be clamped and secured to the skid rails while drilling.

  6. The Substructure will have adequate guides while skidding. The guides will be capable of providing uplift stability in case of sudden wind gusts or other evenets that may produce overturning while skidding.

  7. The maximum allowable wind velocity while skidding is 25 mph. Skidding shall stop and substructure clamped to the skid base for higher wind condition.

  8. During Drilling Operations:

The Substructure shall be clamped and secured to the skid rail during drilling rig operations.

Maximum allowable wind velocity without setback is 100 mph.

Maximum allowable wind velocity with full setback is 85 mph.

  9. The substructure will skid transversely, Driller's side to Off-Driller's side or vise-versa. The mast hook-block, drawworks, doghouse, rotary table, BOPs and all equipment usually on the substructure will skid as one unit (with the substructure). Other equipment (pumps, mud tanks, etc.) will not be skidded.

  10. The rig will drill wells in a single row.

  11. Contcrete foundations will be provided by the Client for the Skid Base Structure.

II.  SCOPE OF SUPPLY

  1. SKID BASE:

    1. The Skid base is composed of four (4) Leap Frong or Jumper sections. Each Leap Frog section is composed of two (2) Skid Rails, approximately 24" high and approximately 19'-6" long. Horizontal and diagonal spreaders are provided between skid rails to keep these square and stable during skidding and drilling operations.

    2. There are a total of eight (8) skid rails - Two per Leap Frog section, eight (8) horizontal spreaders and eight (8) diagonal spreaders.

    3. All sections are connected together with double 100,000 psi high strength pins.

    4. The top of the skid rails are slotted with 2" x 4" slots every 24" to anchor the jacking claw base while skidding.
